Welcome to Tandala Safaris Zambia. We are a Zambian Hunting Outfitter, operating the Bili-Bili Game Management Area in the Kafue Game Conservancy- Southern Zambia. We provide a first-class African hunting experience in a truly remote, un-fenced and wild part of Southern Africa.
Tandala Safaris is owned and operated by Professional Hunters Lance Higgins and Greg Street. Between them, they have over 45 years of professional hunting experience. Their goal is to provide once in a lifetime safaris to clients through ensuring great quality trophies, great service and authentic hospitality.
Our holistic approach extends from ethical hunting practices and big investments in anti-poaching, to ensuring the local community tangibly benefits from this natural resource, both in the short and long term.
Bili-Bili Game Management Area
Tandala Safaris operates in the Bili-Bili Game Management Area, located in the Kafue Game Conservancy- Southern Zambia. This remote region can only be described as truly vintage Africa.
The area spans over 2,000 square kilometres and is completely un-fenced, with all the wildlife occurring naturally in the concession. We border the prestigious Kafue National Park and, due to a recent moratorium on hunting in Zambia, the area has been almost completely untouched. This area of Zambia is renowned for it's big cats including big black-maned lion. This can be seen through our very successful first few hunting seasons, with a 100% success rate on lion and some magnificent trophies. The area also boasts the best sable hunting that Africa has to offer, along with healthy buffalo populations and numerous other plains-game species.
Furthermore, its remote location has been instrumental in allowing it to remain unspoiled, a genuine rarity in these times. The pristine African bush along with its remoteness, gives you the feeling of being the only person on the continent. It is an experience that is increasingly hard to find!
Our Team
Lance Higgins
Lance has been a licensed professional hunter for over 27 years. He has spent the majority of his hunting career in Zambia, whilst also spending some time in Tanzania. Having been in the industry for more than two decades and hunting almost every available area that Zambia has to offer, he is as experienced as they come. His enthusiasm and passion for hunting, combined with his years of experience will ensure that you have a once in a lifetime safari.
Greg was born in Zambia in
1973, and has lived here all his
life. He has been a licensed Professional Hunter in Zambia for over 18 years, and has guided clients in most of the hunting areas in Zambia. He has hunted with various outfitters over the years including the likes of Royal Zambezi Safaris . Once again, the experience and knowledge obtained through his many years in the hunting industry combined with his bubbly personality, ensures that clients always have a great hunt

Camp Staff
Our camp staff includes chefs, waiters, skinners and trackers, many of whom are employed locally. They are enthusiastic and motivated individuals who will cater to your every need!
Camp
This idyllic hunting camp is built next to the Kanankulo River shaded by beautiful Acacia Trees, a lovely place to come back to after a hard days hunting.
It is powered by solar electricity and includes comfortable en-suite safari tents with hot and cold water, a beautiful bar/dining area with a balcony overlooking the river and a tranquil fireplace, a necessity in the African bush.
